If you look at these photos and see genuine beauty (the kind that starts in the heart), style and class, intelligence and strength, and joy to be graduating high school, then I've done my job well. Tawny is all that and more, and I couldn't be happier to share these images in celebration!Read More
Emmi had one wish for her senior portraits: that they be creative.
In case you didn't know, saying those magical words to a photographer is the same as a blank canvas yelling out, "paint me!" Needless to say, I was delighted. There were multiple times I asked Emmi to do things during her photo session that most people would have thought twice about, laughed, and asked if I was serious. But she took it all in stride (even when I asked her mom to throw sunflowers at her head), and I think the reason is because she's an artist herself. You know the saying it takes one to know one? Emmi didn't blink at some of my wild ideas because she knows that the creative process sometimes involves big ideas like flying sunflowers. And it worked.
But don't take my word for it - see for yourself. I think we made a great team!
Kaitlyn loves to laugh. But I feel like that's just stating the obvious; it won't take long for you to see that for yourself! Kaitlyn has a fun-loving personality and is incredibly big-hearted. She's creative and funny and if you're fortunate enough to call Kaitlyn your friend, I think she's one-in-a-million.
Her only request for senior portraits was something creative and unlike the norm, and since that's my goal with every session, we made a great team. I think these images show Kaitlyn's true personality, her radiant inner beauty, and her love for life. Thanks for allowing me the privilege of documenting this important time in your life, Kaitlyn! I wish you the happiest last year of high school.
