Real Life: April

April showers bring May flowers, right? So they say. But when my family came to visit us in Chicago for Easter weekend, we found some gorgeous April flowers! We spent a few hours at the Garfield Park Conservatory, and you would have thought we stepped right into summer. The greenhouses are sprawling and loaded with color from flowers of all shapes and sizes. I took my camera and snapped a few photos of the day, and I'm so glad I did. That weekend ranks high on my list of good memories!

I'm itching to go back with my camera and spend a little more time in this lovely place - who wants to join me? :)

An extra photo this month because it's my family and because there's nothing better. You had better believe this one is getting a frame!

You probably remember that my real life posts are part of a blog circle like the one I did last year. To follow the circle, click through the other ladies in the group starting with Sarah Cambio, a photographer I've admired for a long time.
