If you look at these photos and see genuine beauty (the kind that starts in the heart), style and class, intelligence and strength, and joy to be graduating high school, then I've done my job well. Tawny is all that and more, and I couldn't be happier to share these images in celebration!Read More
Kaitlyn loves to laugh. But I feel like that's just stating the obvious; it won't take long for you to see that for yourself! Kaitlyn has a fun-loving personality and is incredibly big-hearted. She's creative and funny and if you're fortunate enough to call Kaitlyn your friend, I think she's one-in-a-million.
Her only request for senior portraits was something creative and unlike the norm, and since that's my goal with every session, we made a great team. I think these images show Kaitlyn's true personality, her radiant inner beauty, and her love for life. Thanks for allowing me the privilege of documenting this important time in your life, Kaitlyn! I wish you the happiest last year of high school.
Kaitlyn is a graduating senior of the Newton Class of 2016 in West Milton, Ohio. We took her senior portraits on a sunny summer day at her home and various locations nearby. Styling was provided my both Kaitlyn, her mom, and myself to create this timeless vintage-inspired session with a hint of whimsy. I'd say it was a smashing success. :)
They grow up so fast.
If you high school seniors had a quarter for every time you heard that phrase, you just might have your freshman year in college paid for. And I may or may not be about to say it one more time.
It really is hard to believe you're graduating, Shelby. It was just last year that you were calling me up to set a date for our annual school supply shopping day, wasn't it?! From those teenage days to your years at Troy Christian High School, you've always had a knack for working out the details and making a plan. You've got big plans for life after high school, and that diligence will pay off again and again.
I'll give you one piece of advice, and save the rest for the book I'll write you in your graduation card. :) It's speaking-from-experience, been-there-done-that kind of advice: commit your plans, no matter how thought through and how expertly crafted, to the God who already knows. Life will be exponentially less stressful.
Congratulations, Shelby Lou!
