Wildflower Photoshoot ● Kyra's Senior Session

2,000 miles is a long way. Especially when it's the distance that separates some of your favorite people in the whole world.

Kyra is one of those people - she lives across the US in the beautiful state of Washington, and our paths don't cross nearly as often as I wish they would. I fondly refer to her as my little cousin, but friend is a much more fitting word! So when she messaged me about taking her senior portraits while she was in Ohio for a visit, I was delighted, flattered, and tickled to the pinkest of pinks! We dashed through wildflower fields together, rode vintage bicycles with nearly flat tires, and peered into the nooks and crannies of historic Germantown, making memories that easily span 2,000 miles. :)

Kyra is a photographer herself, and you need to go follow her on Instagram to see the gorgeous food she makes and the pictures she takes of it. Who doesn't love some fab food photography?!

Kyra, I pray for you...

that the God of our Lord Jesus, the glorious Father, will give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation so that you may know him better!

Happy graduation, dear friend!

Connor | Tipp City Senior

When I first sat down across from Connor and her mom at our local Tipp City coffee shop, I could hardly believe that she was graduating high school. Connor is my "little" cousin, only she's not at all little anymore - she's a beautiful young woman with dreams and aspirations for life after high school.

I wish you the best as you take this next big step in life, Connor! I'll pass along one of my very favorite pieces of advice from Jim Elliot:

Wherever you are, be all there.
